What was once beautiful
The morning dew on leaves
As they sat in the cool
Of the coming day's perplexity
Once again leaves me without a breath
Kidnaps much needed sleep
All these staggered thoughts
Keeping my mind fogged
Memories...

We all begin our journey
On our knees
When crawling becomes running
Then one day,
your baby boy enrolls into the navy
We're all dying to be
more than we can be
We all long to make it...
One more day...
Past the pain...
To another good morning
Oh how it hurts
Stings with every fall
These growing pains
Sent me in a mad rage
Days went by...
Smiles camouflage the strain
Oh what can keep me from this agony ?
Yes, we begin our journey
On our knees
When crawling becomes running,
Then one day,
your baby boy enrolls into the navy
We're all dying to be
More than we can be
We all long to make it...
One more day...
past the pain...
To another good morning

On our winding roads
But never truly alone
If you need
Comfort in your brokenness...
Here I am
Laughter when caught in the whirlwind
Here I am
Whatever it is
Whenever it is...
Here I am

Take in all you can
Because you can't rewind
And
we're all dying to be
more than we can be
We're all trying to make it
Past the goodbye...
To another good morning
 No this isn't goodbye...

Just another good morning

RIP.Gary
