To love is an act of faith
It is a chance , a risk you take
It's a single drop of water,
In the scorching heat refreshing a soul from its own defeat
To love is an act of faith
Armies of hope
Marching in unison
It's not giving up
When all else fails you're still hanging on
At the other end of the rope

Against waves of hate
You are a voice
One more voice
Marching in an army of hope
This is not forced
It is my choice
To believe beyond reason
To love in every season

To love is an act of faith
It will bring you to your knees
Take the very air from your lungs
As you struggle to breathe
For faith is believing in that which we cannot see
You must train your heart to be the guides
faith will be your eyes

It's like Holy Water
From a desert stream
Cleanses you from all you impossibilities you see

Though you can't explain it, how it feels , or from whence it leaps
To love is an act much too precious to pass by
It's allowing someone in
Just as you are ,
 because you know the value of love is much more than money
It's the center of all things
