Like light bouncing off a full moon
shining brightly over head
sweeping me off my feet
Into this whirlwind;
A silent tune
gusts of wind colorful with emotion
escape your silent gaze
Harmonies colliding,
As my most inner prayers I raise
Bewildered by this moment,
you've left me,
shocked and in disbelief
in a completely unimaginable daze
So your words bounce off of me
lighting the depths of my tender heart
The beauty of oceans tides,
within your eyes,
Has me at a loss for words
thoughts rushing through my mind
thoughts lost in transient time
Night fireflies,
Shooting stars,
this is my wish tonight...
that your heart might become,
A place where I'm at rest
That summer's song of love
might be heard on this cold, autumn, evening
Rising above all doubts and confusion,
Beauty displayed in timid smiles exchanged
