In my mind
I see this place
When my moments seem like hours
Hours feel like days
When my heart feels suffocated
Smothered by the unnecessary
Sing my heart sing
the opera to your life
written on your walls so lovingly

Collected tears on trees,
have turned to flowers white
Flowers cascading,
like those that fell from your eyes
Delicately watering,
new seeds...
as you lye anxiously awaiting
prayers to take flight
Petals of hope gracefully descend
from heaven's heights,
sweeping over your sorrow
Petals of hope from your Mother's hands

In my mind
I see this place
When my moments seem like hours
Hours feel like days
When my heart feels suffocated
Smothered by the unnecessary
Sing my heart sing
the opera to your life,
Written on your walls so lovingly

Symphonies of daffodils
parade through the cloud of grey
Willow trees decorate
Painting the background scenery
Dispersing clouds of self doubt looming over me

In my mind
I see this place
When my moments seem like hours
Hours feel like days
When my heart feels suffocated
Smothered by the unnecessary
Sing my heart sing
the opera to your life
written on your walls so lovingly

With death comes new life
and though filled with pain
the nights often seemed
to reflect something deeper
Much deeper than what's seen
Beyond explanation, above understanding
