Take a crayon and fill me in
Fill me with color
cause I'm so tired of being
Black and white


More than a smile
amuse me for a while
can you give me a second of your time?
To look past the visible
See more than just a face in a crowd

sitting and watching
As the world passes me by


Wish I could walk
out of the past
Wish I could dance
Into a new start
Still hoping for that chance
