It hurts, but I’m still smiling
I’m tired, but I’m still fighting
My eyes sting,
I’m still searching
I can’t hear,
My hearts is listening
I can’t walk, yet I’m still standing


Sometimes the pain and hurt make me blind
But in my heart I know
You’ll shine that light
No matter how lost I feel
you won’t ever leave me behind

I’ve been lied to,
But I still believe
In that tune he sang
My heart plays it for me

I’m heart broken,
I still manage to love
I feel betrayed, I still open my arms
I’m wounded and bruised,
I still try to walk
I will take that step
Knowing I may once again fall
